INTERVIEW

1. how long have you been doing what your doing and how did you get started in the first place? 

I always like to write, I was fascinated with the utility of words. I started writing raps in seventh grade, like twelve and was recording at home studios by 9th grade like fourteen. I did my first mixtape my senior year and after I finished high school the idea of a career as an artist started to blossom. 

2.what great advice can you give to other artists looking forward to follow the path of an artist?

Do what you think is right there is no one who knows what they’re doing. 

3. what excites you the most when it comes to the music making process and what discourages you the most?

I think people should have two things; an outlet to express themselves and something to work at / getter better at. What excites me the most when it comes to the music making process, is for me it it’s both of those things wrapped in one. As I make strides as an artist and understand music making and songwriting more, I’m also getting to know myself at a deep level along the way. 

I’d say what discourages me most are things out of my control and I try not to dwell on them. I can’t make my record pop or make my video go viral, but I can keep putting out good shit. 

4. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 

In five years I see myself with at least a couple real albums under my belt, features, budgets, etc. Touring for sure, seeing the world. Really doing this shit man, I’ve spent a long time trying to get ready for my moment and when that door opens I’m running through it. 

5. Who are your biggest influences when it comes to your sound?

Sonically, Mac Miller, J Cole. Drake, Frank Ocean, I could go on but those the goats.

6. Who has been your biggest support throughout your journey as an artist?

My family and friends have always held me down and made this dream feel achievable. 

 7. How do you prepare mentally before each and every show? 

Just gotta lock in man, I love being on stage and I know I’m prepared when I step out there so I just take some deep breathes and let it fly. 

8. How do you find inspiration when it comes to writing a song? 

Everywhere. My life, friends lives, other art … one of my favorite quotes is “the world has music for those who listen”.

9. If you can describe your fans in one word what would it be and why? 

Listening. I think my biggest fans relate to the content in my lyrics and are really listening to what I’m saying. 

10. Who would you like to work with in the near future?

The list is endless but Benny Blanco for sure, he’s from my hometown and I’ve run into him in LA a bunch of times would love to work with him. Bas would be legendary, Rexx Life Raj, Matt Champion, Kenny Beats. We could be here all day lol 

11. What do you hope to accomplish in 2025? 

I really hope to tour in 2025 and put out another project, maybe a full length album we’ll see what’s up, will definitely be dropping music all year. 

12. You recently released "No Resistance", what was the inspiration behind the song? 

Just about letting go and moving through life without fighting it, with “No Resistance”. It’s easy to get caught up and forget how good shit is sometimes

13. How would you like to be remembered at the end of your career? 

As an artist who cared about his work and wanted to be great at it. As a writer. As a voice who appreciated who’s listening. 

14. What has been a great challenge in your music career and how did you overcome it? 

I think consistency and learning to fail and try again. I understand that sometimes things won’t work or go as planned and when they don’t - try again. 

15. For those yet to hear your works of art, what can they expect to hear when they listen to your music?

Lyricism, versatility.
